The Museum of the West Texas Frontier preserves and shares the history of Stamford and the surrounding region.
Through exhibits and educational programs, the museum highlights the people, industries, and traditions that shaped the West Texas frontier.
The museum also serves as a visitor center, providing information about local attractions, businesses, and events.

Carnegie Library
The Stamford Carnegie Library was built in 1910 with a grant from industrialist and noted philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie. Of the 32 Carnegie Libraries built in Texas, it is one of five left in existence today that is still functioning as an active library.*

VIP Community Center
The VIP Community Center provides a welcoming gathering place for Stamford residents, offering meals, activities, and social opportunities for seniors and the community.
The center hosts community meals and recreational activities such as games and social gatherings throughout the week.
