Utility Billing

The Utility Billing Department manages city utility accounts and payments for Stamford residents. Here you can access billing information, make a payment, and find answers to common questions about your account.

Billing Information

Utility bills are issued monthly and are due on the 15th of each month, or the next business day if the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday.

A 10% late penalty will be applied at 5:00 PM on the due date. The final day to make payment is the 24th of each month, or the next business day if the 24th falls on a weekend or holiday.

Failure to pay may result in a disconnection of services and a $50 reconnect fee.
